Pregnancy can be an exciting and sometimes overwhelming journey, and having the right information can make all the difference.

Below you’ll find information to guide you through each trimester, from your first midwife appointment to antenatal classes, getting ready for birth, right through to feeding your baby.

Referral to Midwife

If you’re thinking about having your baby at Medway Maritime Hospital, please complete the online self-referral form. We recommend that you complete this form as soon as possible after confirming your pregnancy with a positive pregnancy test. This gives the Medway maternity services the best opportunity to arrange your first appointment for between 8 and 10 weeks of pregnancy.
