About each appointment

At each of these appointments it’s helpful to think about questions you might have about feeding your baby and where to go for support. The more information you and your partner know about where to find support on feeding , the easier it will be after baby is born to know who to contact.

A midwife will visit you on;
  • your first day home
  • second day home if breastfeeding or over the phone if bottle feeding
  • day five
  • and if all is going well at discharge on day 10-14.
